Chef Mark Phillips

Mark Phillips Chef Mark Phillips is an artist, chef, photographer and poet with both technical training in the field of culinary arts and life teaching experience in the field of arts.  He holds an A.S. Degree in culinary arts and a B.A. Degree in Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. With his training and passion for the arts, Mr. Phillips has developed his own brand Southern Temptations, “The renaissance of artistry where art and food are one”. Mark has been cultivating his love for art since middle school where his hands on experience in both the culinary and visual arts began. Mark’s painting style resembles pop/modern art with a personal and creative twist. He has worked for established catering companies such as Chef Max Miami Catering, A Chef Touch and currently executive chef for Ixtlan Ultra Lounge Atlanta, GA. Throughout his career Mark has engaged in electronic marketing, Travel & Tourism, and private catering events. He recently appeared on Atlanta & Company showcasing his culinary techniques and has been acknowledged in Dinning Out magazine (Atlanta March 2010). Mark continues to look for ways to strengthen his talents and hone his craft by engaging in new endeavors such as beaded arts and continually expanding his social network.

 

Chef Clarence Ridgley

Chef Clarence Chef Clarence Ridgley is the owner and Personal Chef of CJR Catering Evolution.  Born and raised in the food capital of the world, New Orleans, LA, Chef Ridgley realized his dream as a teenager to become a chef. Taught in the kitchen of his grandmother, Chef Ridgley began to practice his culinary skills. It was there that he found a love for all things food.  Chef Ridgley moved through the ranks of the culinary field. From cook to national training manager, to personal chef, Chef Ridgley honed his culinary skills under the leadership of great chefs.  Specializing in American Cuisine with

Fusion inspired authentic Cajun blend Chef Ridgley’s finesse for cuisine is place prominently on display, and Chef’s commitment to each client is to provide personalized menus, great food, and memorable service.

Chef Ridgley has had the opportunity on many occasions to cook for celebrities and compete in celebrity events in and around the metro Atlanta area. In May of 2011, Chef Clarence was featured on CBS Better Morning America where he led a team of celebrities in a cook-off to promote community partnership for the Atlanta Southwest Soul Festival. In addition, Chef Ridgley is the personal Chef to Cash Money Princess Cymia, and he has also worked for Kalenna of Diddy Dirty Money, Dwight Philips, US Track & Field World Champion, and Roger Bob of Bobcat film, and numerous others. Chef Ridgley contributes to charitable events. He is the reigning champion of Culinary Fight Night, which marries charity and competition between local chefs in the Atlanta area, such a feed the home-less, and inner city kid for performing arts. Chef Jason Ellis

Lynch_Party_Food_Photos-12 Recognized for his signature blend of Neo-Global expression with southern roots and classical European training, Jason Ellis pours his passion for all things culinary into plated pleasures like cedar plank salmon and sweet potato has browns glazed in bourbon butter and edible extravaganzas such as Atlanta popular, delightful Lobster and Chocolate.

When the producers of Fox TV’s Hell’s Kitchen, called, the competition between the nation’s most talented and well-trained chefs, it was not a huge surprise to the many entertainment icons Ellis regularly serves as personal chef. But to Ellis, the accomplished Executive Chef who got his start as a dishwasher, it was absolutely amazing.

The Chef began his formal training at 18 years old as a student in Berlin, Germany. By age 22, he had served his country and his fellow servicemen and women as a Garde Manager in the United States Army, attended Culinary school in Europe and apprenticed at Ristorante Bergamo under Nello Gigio. So when The Chef faced the notorious Gordan Ramsey and his competitors week after week as nearly 8 million viewers watched him brave the heat of Hell’s Kitchen and emerge to the top, it was his extensive experience as an accomplished Chef, Restaurateur, Caterer and Culinary instructor that helped him to solidify his position and a solid finish on the TV series.

The Chef continues to create the signature delicacies that delight the discrimination palettes of music and Film Celebrities, Television personality, Professional Athletes and Corporate Executives across the country. He regularly supports non-profits that are committed to the health and well being of youth and families and has been recognized for community service by an acknowledgment from the Atlanta City Council proclaiming his very own Chef Jason Ellis Day!
